In the spirit of increasing access to young audiences, the Symphony is offering FREE tickets to all middle and high school students groups from public schools in Bexar County. The offer is available to all 2015-2016 San Antonio Symphony Valero Classics concerts in The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. We are setting aside only 10% of the capacity so seating is limited.

The final chapter of the Las Américas Festival is a smorgasbord of sounds and styles. Two sides of legendary composer-conductor Leonard Bernstein’s greatest masterpieces are presented: his symphonic suite from the Oscar-winning film On the Waterfront and his sacred work set to biblical texts Chichester Psalms, featuring the San Antonio Symphony Mastersingers. Tango-king Astor Piazzolla’s soulful concerto for bandoneón, Aconcagua, and Arturo Márquez’s toe-tapping Danzón No. 2 add Latin zest to the proceedings.
